Liberty Mountain Resort Wedding | Real Weddings
I am so excited to talk about this beautiful Liberty Mountain Resort wedding that I had the pleasure of creating custom stationery for. Liberty Mountain is near and dear to my heart because I used to ski there as a kid, so when Jayde approached me about her upcoming wedding there, I was so excited!
If you’re new here, my name is Lourdes and I am a wedding stationer that works with couples who appreciate the beauty of paper goods for their wedding and want to bring a special touch through elegantly designed stationery.
Let’s dive into the details of this wedding!
The Stationery
When Jayde reached out to me about custom stationery for her Liberty Mountain Resort wedding, she had her colors picked out (dark forest green and subtle hints of dusty pink) and knew she wanted to incorporate the mountain scenery that’s the highlight of her venue. As a stationer, I absolutely love incorporating venue and scenery illustrations into the wedding suite and when I saw a photo of the view that the reception venue overlooks, I knew we needed to include it in Jayde and Michael’s wedding invitation suite!
After some sketches, we settled on the final illustration you see here. The illustration created a header on the invitation that gave their guests a glimpse of what they could expect at Jayde and Michael’s October wedding. Imagine that view with the beautiful fall foliage of central Pennsylvania!
For the rest of the suite, we went with a combination of classic serif font and wording, and whimsical detailing and script fonts. We kept the color scheme heavy on the dark forest green with dusty pink accents, and incorporated more of the mountain forest elements on the RSVP cards and envelopes.
I also had the pleasure of creating escort cards for Jayde and Michael’s wedding day stationery. We kept the same design elements as their details card along with the same dark green and dusty pink accents. Pairing that with line drawn illustrations to indicate meal selections made for beautiful keepsake escort cards.
